Fallen.io is a nice site.

It plots deaths caused by conflict over time.

It looks at deaths by country, and theatres of war.

No maps.

It assumes you know countries.

It assumes you know where these countries are geographically

What is Cross Path?

We create paths as we travel through life.

At any one time, we are somewhere , on Earth.

Where we have been and where we are going, is our path.

In life, we cross paths with other people; family, friends, fellow students, lovers, co-workers, strangers and all of humanity.

Fleeting moments or lifetime relationships, our paths cross, at a place in time.

Paths can cross once, multiple times or never again.

As we lay the breadcrumbs of our paths, location against time, and view that relative to others we are laying out who was where when. When we cross path all of humanity, back through the millenia of civilisation, we build the multiple billion helix of mankind. This is our DNA.

I hope our paths will cross again.
